Career Progression
We support several variations of the typical career path, such as pursuing an MBA/ other study at the Associate level to round out your skills and experience, and actively encourage exchange with our alliance partners.

Career progression is highly dependent on individuals and their own development path. A typical, but not set, career progression would follow the path of Business Analyst - Associate - Engagement Manager - Principal - Director. Depending on the consultants formal education, work experience and background, this path can take several different routes. Below are some brief explanations of the day to day work in those roles.


Business Analyst

A Business Analyst provides discrete analysis and quantification of issues.  This will be through interviewing, data analysis and building financial models.  They will assist senior members of the team complete scripted slides with data content.


Associate

An Associate willl be more involved in workstream management and issue based work planning. They will oversee analysis and play a greater role in identifing insight from analysis.  The will independently complete presentation slides and compile document paragraphs supporting data analysis.  An Associate has an increased role in client management.


Engagement Manager to Principal

Engagement Management requires clear day to day project leadership sometimes on multiple projects. They will be responsible for work planning and resource allocation, defining / supervising analytical requirements.  An Engagement Manager plays a greater role in client development and relationship management, assisting a Director in proposal requirements and development of deliverables.


Director

A Directors' role is to guide and provide counsel to senior members of client teams, attract new clients and maintain existing relationships. Directors' provide mentoring support to other members of the firm.
